Selection of Raw Materials
Coal suitable for coking is imported from mines with a great production capacity with whom we hold annual supply contracts in order to guarantee quality and continuity.
Quality coke is obtained by commencing with the preparation of the coal blend that are to be made into coke. THis preparation is effected under strict controls of dosage and crushing.
This coal is coked in batteries that have been built with special technology and refractory materials which are of a composition that is specifically determined for coke manufacture at low temperatures and long coking periods.
QUENCHING AND CLASSIFICATION
Quenching is a totally mechanised processed, controlled by heat so that the humidity of foundry coke is achieved homogenously and is lower than specified parameters..
All raw materials that enter the process are controlled by independent laboratories and by the Industiras DOY laboratory. Every day analyses are effected on the preparation of coal mistures and on the finished product.
